Humanitarian Diplomacy consists of supporting NGOs, community-based organizations, civil society organizations and local stakeholders in designing and implementing humanitarian initiatives, particularly in rural areas and among vulnerable communities.

IHRO seeks to support initiatives relating to:

• the protection and promotion of human rights;
• access to essential social services;
• healthcare and social protection;
• education and training;
• food security;
• community empowerment;
• protection of vulnerable populations;
• assistance to displaced populations and communities affected by crises;
• peacebuilding and social cohesion.

Through humanitarian diplomacy, IHRO facilitates the mobilization of technical partners, expertise and resources to support high-impact humanitarian projects benefiting local communities.

Economic Diplomacy consists of promoting the economic, commercial, industrial, agricultural, tourism and investment potential of different countries among IHRO partners, investor members, financial institutions and economic stakeholders.

IHRO seeks to contribute to:

• investment mobilization;
• development project support;
• infrastructure financing;
• job creation and income-generating activities;
• private-sector development;
• technology and skills transfer;
• strengthening economic exchanges;
• South-South and international cooperation.

The objective is to contribute, alongside governments and economic stakeholders, to the sustainable economic development of countries.

Geopolitical Diplomacy aims to contribute to dialogue, cooperation and mutual understanding among States, public institutions, international organizations, civil society organizations and other stakeholders of the international community.

It is particularly focused on:

• conflict prevention and peaceful conflict resolution;
• the promotion of peace and stability;
• the protection of human rights;
• prevention of humanitarian crises;
• strengthening dialogue between peoples and States;
• international cooperation;
• promotion of human security;
• the search for concerted solutions to geopolitical challenges affecting populations and national development.

Through this pillar, IHRO seeks to serve as a platform for dialogue, cooperation and responsible influence, in support of peace, stability and development.
